1.
How large can I print my file? The maximum printable width for large format printing is 59.5" (49.5" for artist canvas and canvas banner). Depending on the application used, we can print up to 216" in length. Keep in mind however that we can only enlarge
your existing page layout up to 400%. Also, for photographic images we
recommend between 100-150dpi at final size. 2. What
resolution is recommended for large format image files? For optimal large format output, we recommend 100-150 dpi of info at final print size for photographic images. Your resolution is in direct relation to your
file setup. For example, if your final desired output size is 24"x36"
and your file is set up 12"x18", then your resolution should be 200-300
dpi. 3. How
long will the prints last outdoors? It depends on the paper type. Our Scrim Vinyl, Adhesive Vinyl, Canvas Banner, Backlit Film, and Clear Film materials are printed using UV inks. These inks are fade-resistant and water-resistant, creating a very durable product for both indoor and outdoor applications. Our Satin Photobase and Artist Canvas materials
are printed using dye-based inks which are water soluble and non-fade
resistant. These materials are not intended for extended outdoor use,
but you can prolong the life of these materials with different
laminates. 4. Should
I use CMYK or RGB color mode for my photographic images? We can print from either CMYK or RGB image files.
However, we recommend supplying CMYK files for optimal output. 5. Can
I get a quick turnaround for large format printing? We strive to provide the fastest on-demand
printing at the best price. Most poster jobs can be completed within 24
hours. 6. Do
you offer a sample print? We highly recommend you plan the time to approve a color
sample before printing your poster. Please call or email for more
